Training Waiver Request Process

1.     Purpose

{mosgoogle left}

We recognize that certain skills may be obtained other than through in-class training experiences. This process is designed to allow the organization to:

·         Allow employees or contractors to receive credit for existing skills and abilities that are described in the objectives of training courses.

·         Keep records of employees and contractors that have been waived from specific training.

·         Make training records, including waiver records, available to the appropriate people for consideration in assignments.

·         Accurately identify training needs as part of an organizational training tactical plan.

Specifically, this process documents how our  training group receives, reviews for approval, and tracks Training Waivers

2.     Scope

This process applies to all Training Requirements identified in the Training Requirements.
